Sitka Police Department received the following calls as of 8 a.m. today.
August 24
A blue bike was found in the woods at Sitka National Historical Park.
A motor bike was reported stolen at Eliason Harbor.
At 3:48 p.m. a young girl was reported standing on Edgecumbe Drive, and she told the caller she was waiting for a ride. She was gone when officers arrived.
At 4 p.m. two drivers were reported racing side by side on Harbor Mountain Road. Officers gave the two warnings.
A minor traffic accident with some damage was reported in the 300 block of Seward Street at 4:59 p.m.
At 5:43 p.m. a driver was reported swerving on HPR. Officers found the vehicle parked in the 3000 block.
A driver reported swerving in the 3000 block of HPR was found to be working in the area.
A woman reported a credit card may have been stolen. She called later to say it had been returned.
At 10:38 p.m. a man was reported behaving suspiciously at Eliason Harbor. Officers responded and found nothing awry.
