Police received the following calls by 8 a.m. today:

August 25

At 1:52 p.m. citizen contact was made at Crescent Harbor.

At 5:57 p.m. a caller reported suspicious activity on Islander Drive.

At 6:07 p.m. a possible arson case was reported.

At 6:42 p.m. harassment was reported at the post office.

At 7:36 p.m. disorderly conduct was reported at a business in the 1200 block of SMC.

At 9:58 p.m. a juvenile problem was reported near a downtown bank.

 

Emergency Calls

Sitka Fire Department received ambulance calls at 12:21 a.m. and 6:59 a.m. today.

 

At 11:02 a.m. Tuesday an engine was sent to the Pioneers Home where a clothes dryer was malfunctioning; and at 12:37 p.m. Tuesday an engine was sent to 404 Lake Street where burned toast was causing alarm but no fire.
