Police received the following calls by 8 a.m. today:

August 27

At 12:36 a.m. a disturbance was reported on Darrin Drive.

At 12:48 p.m. a bear was reported on DeGroff Street.

An incidence of drunkenness was reported at Centennial Hall at 2:08 a.m.

At 2:38 a.m. a traffic stop was made in the 500 block of HPR.

At 2:25 a.m. p.m. a parking problem was reported on Smith Street.

An animal problem was reported in the 3600 block of HPR at 7:32 p.m.

An agency assist was requested at the Marine Street substation at 8:23 p.m.

At 8:47 p.m. a bear was reported in the 400 block of DeGroff.

At 9 p.m. a traffic complaint from the 400 block of HPR was logged.

August 28

Police made a welfare check at 1:47 a.m. and called for an agency assist at 5:14 a.m.

Sitka Fire Department received four ambulance calls Thursday.
