Rotary Donation
Dear Editor: Center for Community’s Early Learning Program would like to express our sincere gratitude to Sitka Rotary Club for their recent donation in support of our Child and Family Community Playgroup. With their generous gift, we are able to maintain hosting a weekly play session for young children (ages 3 and under) in a safe, engaging space, as well as expand on our selection of developmentally appropriate toys and equipment.
The Early Learning Program would also like to recognize St. Peter’s Episcopal Church for offering their See House as the venue for our playgroup. We appreciate the collaboration of our partners. Together, this offers an opportunity for families to connect and for children to practice their social skills, play skills and much more. These early experiences matter and do make a difference.
