Police received the following calls by 8 a.m. today:
August 28
Police made a welfare check at 1:47 a.m. and called for an agency assist at 5:14 a.m.
Trespassing was reported at Vennettis Trailer Court at 5:30 p.m.
At 6:21 p.m. suspicious activity was reported in the 1700 block of HPR.
At 6:49 p.m. a disturbance was reported in the 600 block of SMC.
At 7:50 p.m. a disturbance was reported at Blatchley.
Bears were reported at 9:25 p.m. on DeGroff Street and at 10:34 p.m. on Wortman Loop.
At 11:59 p.m. suspicious activity was reported at SMC and Jeff Davis Street.
August 29
At 1:55 a.m. a disturbance was reported on Tongass Drive.
At 2:12 a.m. a disturbance was reported on Kaagwaantaan Street.
Suspicious activity was reported in the 400 block of Marine Street at 7 a.m.
A theft was reported on Indian River Road at 9:08 a.m.
At 9:53 a.m. a traffic accident was reported on Harbor Mountain Road at gate 1. No ambulance was required.
August 30
At 12:22 p.m. a liquor store reported harassment.
At 2:17 p.m. a threatening call was reported.
A theft at Eliason Harbor was reported at 2:55 p.m.
At 7:17 p.m. a bear was reported in the 400 block of Verstovia Street.
August 31
At 1:15 a.m. a disturbance was reported on Naomi Kanosh Lane.
At 5:07 a.m. suspicious activity was reported in the 200 block of Harbor Drive.
Sitka Police
Corey James-Kadake, 26, was charged Saturday with violating conditions of release.
Emergency Calls
Sitka Fire Department received six ambulance calls Friday, four on Saturday, one on Sunday and one this morning.
