Dear Editor: I would like to add my support to Tom Begich in the upcoming Alaska Governor election. I am 100 percent behind Tom and have known him for 40 years. I served with him on two statewide boards: The Adolescent Health Advisory Board and Alaska Juvenile Justice Advisory Committee. His service as a state senator makes him very qualified for the role of Governor. He works well across the aisle and is a hard-working person. I am impressed with his ideas, seen below.
–Unity and inclusion for all Alaskans, including Indigenous and immigrant communities.
–Education and investment to build opportunity for the next generations.
–Economic diversification beyond oil, with growth in craft industries, technology, and tourism.
–Lower energy costs through sustainable, cost-effective alternatives.
Tom has my vote. Thank you.
