BIG MEHS Thanks

Posted

Dear Editor: The board members of Sitka Babies and Books would like to offer our thanks to the Mt. Edgecumbe students that generously shared their time and culture with us for our November's program. Five Native dance groups joined us as well as members of the Native Youth Olympics' team to teach the youngest children of Sitka about the many vast and important Native groups and their traditions in Alaska.

Many students from the MEHS Education Rising Program have also assisted us with other programs we offer and we appreciate them all for being important members of our community. Thank you to the following MEHS students.
