Braves Play Houston Hawks

Following their games against Sitka High earlier in the week, the Houston Hawks crossed the bridge and played the Mt. Edgecumbe Braves and Lady Braves, Friday and Saturday.

Edgecumbe’s girls won twice against the Lady Hawks, 60-37 on Friday and 72-41 Saturday. But on the boys side, the Hawks completed a sweep against local basketball teams with two more victories. Houston beat Edgecumbe 63-54 Friday and 90-66 the next day. The Hawks had previously toppled the Sitka Wolves in two games.

Sitka and Mt. Edgecumbe high schools play today at MEHS. The schedule is below.
