Dear Editor: On behalf of Brave Heart Volunteers, thank you to everyone who made our Buoys and Art Gala on September 12 such a joyful evening. Together we raised $22,458 for free companionship, respite care, grief support, and end of life education for our Sitka neighbors.

The gala has become one of Sitka's favorite nights out. It is an evening to share a great meal, catch up with familiar faces, cheer on your table in the Dessert Dash, and enjoy a glass of wine in your favorite XtraTufs. You don't have to bid to have a great time, so bring your friends and make it a September tradition.
