Correction: Alabama-Police Immunity Hearing story

MONTGOMERY, Ala. (AP) — In a story published July 9, 2025, about the decision to deny a former Alabama police officer immunity, The Associated Press erroneously reported that an appeals court said the circuit judge’s decision was a “gross abuse of discretion.” Defense attorneys for the former officer were the ones who used that language, not the appeals court.
