Correction: Election 2026-Midterm Convention story

In a story published Aug. 25, 2026, about President Donald Trump and Vice President JD Vance Trump scheduled to speak at the Republicans’ midterm convention next month in Dallas, The Associated Press erroneously referred to the Republican National Committee as the Republican National Convention.
