Cross Country Season Wraps Up

The Sitka High men’s cross country team secured second place in the Division II state championship race, Saturday in Anchorage.

Individually, Sitka junior Annan Weiland finished fourth, while senior Silas Demmert took fifth.

The Lady Wolves team took fourth place overall, but Sitka’s Anna Prussian was the first across the finish line, with her teammate Clare Mullin only one second behind.

The Mt. Edgecumbe High Lady Braves finished in seventh place.
