Cruise Ships

Dear Editor: On April 30, in an election with 73% voter turnout, voters in the Cayman Islands voted No (64%) on a referendum to build a cruise dock capable of taking two cruise mega-ships, in St. George. So far, ships only tender there. The successful opposition was led by Cayman Port Referendum (CPR Cayman). The population is about the size of Juneau.
