Sitka Kaagwaantaan artist Ashlynn Emanoff shows off earrings she made as she works on beading other projects during a break at a business and marketing training session led by Henry Jake Foreman, program director of New Mexico Capital, this morning at Harrigan Centennial Hall. The workshop for entrepreneurs is part of the Sheet'ka Kwaan Heritage & Cultural Tourism Conference which kicked off today. The three-day program includes workshops; technical trainings; certifications in AlaskaHost, CulturalHost and CulturalHost's Train the Trainer Programs; as well as a wildlife cruise. This is the 11th year of the conference, which this year has as its theme, "Catalysts of Authenticity and Innovation." Pictured at right is Ashlynn's mother, Jeannie M. Emanoff.
