Toy Drive
Dear Editor: Yay, yay, yay to the generous, giving family found in Sitka! The toy drive located at AC Lakeside and Sea Mart did really well, and it was so good to have Rich from KIFW with Major John at Sea Mart, and Chris from KIFW and Mrs. Claus (Liz) at AC Lakeside with Major Sabrina.
Thank you, Noah, for talking with Mrs. Claus and knowing so much about dinosaurs! Thank you, Sitka, for sharing and helping and caring and making a difference for others that find themselves in need. Sitka is the best!
A huge shout out goes to AC Lakeside, Sea Mart, Stereo North, LFS Marine Supply, Sitka True Value, Alps Federal Credit Union, The Cellar, the Mean Queen, Old Harbor Books, Orion Sporting Goods, and the U.S. Marine Corps Reserve Toys For Tots for being the toy drive sponsors and hosts of toy boxes! We could not do this without you.
It is truly an honor to work alongside all of you to be the hands and feet of Christ. We’ve done this for a long time, and Sitka’s willingness to reach out and help someone up if needed is humbling to partake of on behalf of others within our beautifully kind community.
