Tree-Lighting Event
Dear Editor: Sitka Fine Arts Camp would like to thank everyone who helped make the tree-lighting ceremony a success. A special thank you to the Sitka Summer Music Festival, co-host of the event, for keeping us all warm and fed in the beautiful Stevenson Hall.
The tree lighting would not have been possible without Tracy and Mat Turner, Kari Lundgren, Maureen O’Hanlon, Paul Freudenburg, Judi Lehmann, Mike Wild, Eric Dow, Bill Workman and the Winter Fellows. Many thanks to cellist Sarah Swong, Sitka Chamber Choir, the Shape Note singers, and pianist Dave Nicholls for sharing your musical gifts and traditions. We are also grateful for the delicious cider and cookies, so generously provided by Dirk and Trish White, Kari Lundgren, Dan Jones, Tiffany Pearson, Mary Hames and Cyndy Gibson. Happy holidays and best wishes for the New Year.

the staff of Sitka Fine Arts Camp
