Cookie Drive Success

Dear Editor: The inaugural Lois Perensovich Cookie Drive was a success.

Thank you to all who made Christmas cookies, the helpers who packaged the cookies, and the Salvation Army for distributing the treats.

As a result of the community’s generosity, over 140 gift bags of homemade cookies will be distributed along with the Salvation Army’s packages to help families in need this Christmas.

Thank you, Sitka, for being the thoughtful and generous community that you are.

Nancy Leclerc-Davidson, Sitka
