In Court
    Taylor Gregory Long, 30, of Bellingham, Washington, was found  guilty of refusal to submit to a chemical test. He was sentenced to 30 days with 27 suspended; fined $1,500; ordered to complete treatment; and placed on probation for one year. His license was revoked for 90 days. A charge of driving under the influence was dismissed.

Emergency Calls
    Sitka Fire Department received ambulance calls at 9:20 a.m. and 6:25 p.m. Monday, and 12:01 a.m. and 9:06 a.m. today.
