Police Blotter
    Sitka Police Department was unable to print out all of the calls from Tuesday and Wednesday but provided a summary of the few calls that were received:
December 24
    At 9:41 a.m. a burglary was reported at a Price Street business.
December 25
    At 2:29 p.m. a cell phone was found on Jeff Davis Street. A short time later the owner contacted the police department and the phone was returned.
       
Sitka Police
    Izaak Needham, 50, was charged Tuesday with violating conditions of release after testing positive for meth.
   
Emergency Calls
    Sitka Fire Department received six ambulance calls Tuesday, and two on Christmas.
