    The following calls were logged before 8 a.m. today:
December 26
    A man picked up his credit card, which he said had been stolen.
    The animal control officer checked on a report a man had punched his dog in the chest, and found the man was disciplining his dog for lunging at cars.
    A 911 caller said a man tried to sell her drugs in totem park, and ended up handing her a blunt and lighter, which she said she still had. An officer met with the caller and took possession of the marijuana, which had been purchased for $40.
    Police are investigating charges of violating conditions of release and violating a protective order after a man contacted someone he wasn’t supposed to through Facebook.
    A dog with white and brown patches was reported missing from the Raptor Center area around 2 p.m.
    Police received a denial order to be served.
    Officers talked to a man reported at 7:22 p.m. to be involved in an argument on Lance Drive.
    At 11:36 p.m. a caller said a loud argument had been going on all day between a woman and her boyfriend. The woman told police she had been a little loud and agreed to calm down for the evening.
December 27
    At 12:23 a.m. a resident texted the dispatcher about a neighbor screaming on Price Street. Police talked to a man who had been locked out of his home. He admitted to yelling and banging out of frustration.
    At 3:42 a.m. a caller asked police to talk to a neighbor vomiting out of a Lincoln Street apartment window and making a banging noise. Police were unable to locate anyone matching the description.
   
    Sitka Police

    Matthew E. Spiegle, 21, was arrested Wednesday on a charge of driving under the influence, hit and run and violating release conditions.

    Emergency Calls

    Sitka Fire Department dispatched ambulances at 11:30 a.m., 1:35 p.m., 2:18 p.m., 4:48 p.m. and 6:55 p.m. Wednesday.
