    The following calls were logged before 8 a.m. today:
December 28
    A woman turned in a cell phone found at the Indian River bus stop.
    A woman said her husband had assaulted her the previous night.
    A domestic violence order was to be served.
    At 8:18 p.m. a Marine Street resident complained of a barking dog.
December 29
    An HPR business reported a theft at 12:31 p.m. At 2:23 p.m. the store manager reported the man had returned and given back the stolen item, but requested a trespass order against the man.
    At 7:31 p.m. an Andrew P. Hope  resident said a dog had been barking for the past 12 hours.
    At 11:43 p.m. a woman reported an altercation with her boyfriend. Neither she nor he wished to press charges, and officers found no evidence of a crime.
December 30
    At 1:31 a.m. an officer was called to check on an intoxicated woman in the 200 block of Lincoln. She told him she was waiting for a ride home.
    A caller said his landlord wasn’t returning his deposit. He was told it was a civil issue.
    At 3:20 p.m. a two-vehicle accident with at least one injury was reported in the 3200 block of HPR.
    A resident who is out of town said he was told a woman was refusing to leave his home. No one answered when police knocked at the home.
    At 10:13 p.m. a caller complained of a loud noise at a home at Erler and DeArmond streets. The owner of the home agreed to turn off a generator.
    At 11 p.m. a driver hit a yellow pole at a gas station, and later was stopped.
December 31
    At 1:50 a.m. a caller said a man tried to break into his residence then fled on foot, in the 1300 block of SMC. Police found no one matching the description.
    At 2:10 a.m. a man said his 13-year-old son missed curfew and asked officers to keep an eye out for him.

    Sitka Police
   
    Damien Soto, 21, was charged with assault in the fourth degree, domestic violence, Friday evening.
    Jeremy Beebe, 45, was charged Friday with violating conditions of release after testing positive for opiates.
    Chatham Hansen, 18, was arrested by troopers Friday night on a charge of driving under the influence.
    Keith Perkins, 58, was charged early Sunday morning with driving under the influence.
    Chelsea Michael, 19, was arrested Sunday on a charge of driving under the influence, refusal to take a breath test and violating release conditions.
    Aiden Peterson, 18, was cited Sunday for driving in violation of his instruction permit.

    Coast Guard

    Coast Guard Air Station Sitka helicopter medevacked a 2-year-old suffering from pronounced headaches, from Skagway to Juneau on Friday night. The father accompanied his child.

    Emergency Calls

    Sitka Fire Department dispatched two ambulances Friday, two on Saturday, three on Sunday and one today.
    At 3:19 p.m. Sunday a fire truck and ambulance were sent to the 3200 block of HPR on a traffic accident.
