Police received the following calls between 8 a.m. Friday and 8 a.m. today.
December 4
At 12:24 a.m. an assault was reported on Burkhart Street.
At 2:34 a.m. a welfare check was requested in the 3200 block of HPR.
An incident of drunkenness was filed at 5:31 p.m. in the 1300 block of SMC.
A threatening act was reported at 6:01 p.m. on Cascade Street.
At 8:20 p.m. a welfare check was requested at a community facility.
December 5
A noise complaint from Andrews Street was filed at 4:26 a.m.
Suspicious activity was reported on DeGroff Street at 2 p.m.
At 4:09 p.m. a bear was reported on Andrew P. Hope Street.
A welfare check was requested at a business in the 1300 block of SMC at 10:04 p.m.
December 6
A welfare check was requested at a residence in the 1300 block of SMC at 10:07 a.m.
At 1:36 p.m. a disturbance was reported in the 400 block of Monastery Street.
At 4:46 p.m. suspicious activity was reported in the 1900 block of HPR.
December 7
At 1:03 a.m. a civil dispute was reported near McDonald’s.
Sitka Police
Anthony Hammock, 41, was charged Saturday with resisting arrest and two counts of assault in the fourth degree on a police officer.
Emergency Calls
Sitka Fire Department received two ambulance calls on Friday, eight on Saturday, and three on Sunday.
