The following calls were recorded as of 8 a.m. today.

December 7

At 2:22 a.m. a security check was made at Harbor Mountain Road and HPR, and at 2:42 a.m. a check was made at HPR and Nelson Logging Road.

At 9:54 a.m. a caller reported a bungee cord and a long piece of metal were on the O’Connell Bridge, posing a traffic hazard. DOT was advised.

At 12:16 p.m. a traffic accident at HPR and Lake Street resulted in minor damage to two vehicles. Self-report forms were to be filled out.

A possible theft of services was reported in the 200 block of Lincoln Street. Police are investigating.

A parking problem arose at Pherson and Monastery streets at 5:20 p.m.

At 11:55 p.m. a security check was made in the 100 Herring Cove Road.

Sitka Fire Department received 10 ambulance calls Wednesday.
