KENYA-EBOLA — Map. This AP digital embed map shows Europe, Africa and Asia and highlights four countries where Ebola cases have been detected. A Kenyan citizen who had been living in Congo before returning to Nairobi over the weekend has become Kenya’s first confirmed case of Ebola and the country’s first death from the disease in the fast-moving outbreak, Kenyan authorities said on Tuesday. The man had been residing in Congo for the past seven years and fell ill about a month ago. This map is current as of Oct. 6, 2026, and will not update. Sources: AP reports; Kenya Ministry of Health.
