Moose Lodge Thanks

Dear Editor: The Sitka Sound Slayers Roller Derby Team would like to thank the Sitka Moose Lodge 1350 for donating the proceeds of their Jan. 15 steak dinner. The team plans to use the donated funds towards travel expenses for the 2016 State Roller Derby Tournament in Anchorage on April 23. The Sitka Slayers took second place last year and they’re aiming for first this year.
