The following calls were logged before 8 a.m. today:
February 11
A resident said a caller asked for his Social Security number and told him he’d be arrested if he didn’t provide it. The resident was advised to report the attempted scam to ic3.gov. The caller was from a 213 area code.
A wildlife trooper said he’d checked on a boat that might have a person with a felony warrant aboard, and found it was someone else.
A Pyrenees dog found at Thimbleberry Lake was taken to the shelter.
At 5:12 p.m. a 911 caller said a man walking on Indian River Road was nearly being hit by cars. Officers found him passed out and unresponsive, and he was taken to the hospital.
An ambulance was called for a man who broke his leg on Lance Drive.
An ambulance was dispatched for a man with severe stomach pain.
At 8:54 p.m. harbor staff asked police to deal with three men in the ANB Harbor restrooms. A taxi was called for two, and the third was taken to the hospital in an ambulance due to his level of intoxication.
A Lab-mix dog was missing.
At 10:47 p.m. a resident complained about a neighbor’s loud TV. The neighbor, who didn’t realize it was loud, agreed to turn down the volume.
