AFS Valentine

Dear Editor: Happy Valentine’s Day, Sitka!

We love Sitka, it’s really nice and quiet and clean, the weather sometimes treats us well too.

We love all the different opportunities at Sitka High School.

We love the volunteer opportunities that we can put our free time into.

We love the quality time we spend with our host moms, dads, sisters and brothers and doing new, fun things together.

We love that there are so many places in nature to go hiking.

We love our teachers because they are helpful to us to understand things and they are fun to listen to. 

We love the sport coaches, team members and the activities we can try for the first time, like basketball, esports, soccer, DDF, mock trial, cross country and track.

We love the diversity of people at Mt. Edgecumbe High School and the chance to spend a day in their school.

We are grateful to be here, meet amazing people and experience all the things Sitka has to offer.
