Police Blotter
    The following calls were logged before 8 a.m. today:
February 14
    Police talked to Peterson Street residents about cleaning up their garbage, which they said they would do.
    The harbor department secured a boat that was adrift near Crescent Harbor and called the owner.
    At 8:27 a.m. a vehicle accident was reported in a driveway in the 700 block of Indian River Road. A man was taken to the hospital.
    The animal control officer signed a criminal trespass form against a resident.
    At 12:04 p.m. a disoriented man was reported to have been picked up by the city bus. He was fine, police were told.
    A resident reported packages were stolen from her front porch.
    A Max West phone and blue bag with a magazine inside were reported lost.
    A child with a medical emergency was taken to the hospital. His grandfather was called.
    A resident reported his wallet was stolen from his vehicle at the Hames PE Center, around 7 p.m.
    A woman triggered her lifeline alarm, and was picked up by an ambulance.
    Police were advised of a swerving vehicle in the 3200 block of HPR at 9:24 p.m.
   
In Court
    Amanda R. Skultka, 32, was sentenced to one day for disorderly conduct and 5 days for violating release conditions. Another charge of violating release conditions was dismissed.

Emergency Calls
    Sitka Fire Department received ambulance calls at 1:59, 7:18 and 7:28 p.m. Thursday.
    At 8:38 a.m. Thursday a fire truck and an ambulance were sent to the 700 block of Indian River Road in response to a vehicle accident.
