Police received the following calls by 8 a.m. today.
February 18
A case of trespassing was reported at 12:50 a.m. in the 2300 block of HPR.
Criminal mischief was reported at a business in the 1300 block of SMC at 7:44 a.m.
A citizen assist was logged at 11:34 a.m. in the 2700 block of HPR.
At 7:19 p.m. an animal problem near Coliseum Theatre was reported.
Reckless driving was reported in the 2700 block of HPR at 7:55 p.m.
A domestic problem was reported in the 1400 block of HPR.
An animal problem on Cedar Beach Road was reported at 8:57 p.m.
A traffic complaint at Starrigavan campground, the water side, was logged at 9:18 p.m.
A security check was requested at a downtown bar at 11:30 p.m.
February 19
Trespassing was reported at 1:16 a.m. in the 800 block of HPR.
Sitka Police
Sergio Sanchez, 22, was charged with driving under the influence Thursday night.
Anthony Edenshaw, 27, was charged with trespassing early today.
Emergency Calls
Sitka Fire Department received ambulance calls at 2:46 p.m. and 5:10 p.m. Thursday. At 7:08 p.m., a fire engine was sent to the 400 block of Lake Street on what proved to be an alarm but no fire.
