Education Secretary

Dear Editor: Thank you, Sen. Lisa  Murkowski.

As a public school teacher, a parent and a concerned Alaskan I applaud Sen. Murkowski’s decision to speak independently from her party opposing the current nominee for Secretary of Education.

Sen. Murkowski has listened to her constituents and knows that Mrs. DeVos would not be looking out for Alaskan students nor the majority of U.S. students. Now we need Sen. Dan Sullivan to listen to us as well.
