Police received the following calls between 8 a.m. Friday and 8 a.m. today.

February 1

At 11:13 a.m. a driver reported sliding on the icy road at the roundabout and hitting a traffic sign. Damage was minor.

At 1:09 a.m. a welfare check was requested in the 2000 block of HPR.

At 5:03 p.m. a traffic accident with no injuries was reported in the 2400 block of SMC. A car had overturned on the icy road, and a wrecker had to be called.

At 5:29 p.m. a welfare check was requested on Price Street.

At 8:47 p.m. suspicious activity was reported on Moller ballfield.

A noise complaint from Price Street was filed at 10:03 p.m.

February 2

At 12:32 a.m. a caller reported a friend she’d had an argument with hadn’t been seen for several hours.

 

Emergency Calls

Sitka Fire Department received ambulance calls at 11:32 a.m., 5:15 p.m. and 8:58 p.m. Monday, and 4:15 a.m. today.
