Pioneers’ Thank You

Dear Editor: In reflection of a Report to the Governor respectfully submitted on December 31, 1914, by Arthur G. Shoup reads as follows, “Much of the success of the Alaska Pioneers’ Home so far is largely due to the hearty moral support tendered by the people of Alaska. I wish to particularly thank those who have assisted with generous presents at each Christmas time, and in donating books for a library. I am deeply grateful.”

The spirit of giving continues today as well as the tradition of service through community.
