Police received the following calls between by 8 a.m. today.
February 19
Trespassing was reported at 1:16 a.m. in the 800 block of HPR.
A civil dispute arose at 7:38 a.m. on Etolin Way.
A theft was reported at a store in the 700 block of SMC.
Suspicious activity was reported at 5:01 p.m. on Charteris.
At 5:56 p.m. a traffic accident with damage but no injuries were reported on Smith Street.
At 9:23 p.m. drunkenness was reported in the 300 block of Lincoln.
At 9:52 p.m. disorderly conduct was reported at Lake and Lincoln streets.
A welfare check was requested on Anna Drive at 10:32 p.m.
February 20
At 12:49 a.m. suspicious activity was reported in the 1700 block of HPR; and at 4:01 a.m. on Anna Circle.
At 7:50 a.m. drunkenness was reported at Market Center.
Criminal mischief was reported on College Drive at 12:48 p.m.
A traffic accident with damage but no injuries was reported at 3:32 p.m. after a vehicle went into a ditch on Cedar Beach Road.
A welfare check was requested on DeGroff Street at 8:45 p.m.
February 21
A disturbance was reported on Lance Drive at 12:15 a.m.
Suspicious activity was reported at a business on Smith Street at 1:06 a.m.
At 12:24 p.m. criminal mischief was reported on Kasiana Island.
At 12:32 p.m. suspicious activity was reported at the Starrigavan boat launch.
At 10:54 p.m. a domestic problem was reported at a downtown restaurant.
A report of a sexual assault at a Japonski Island facility at 11:11 p.m. is being investigated.
February 22
An assault was reported on Shelikof Way at 12:58 a.m.
At 1:11 a.m. suspicious activity was reported on Hemlock Street; at 3:38 a.m. on Andrew P. Hope Street; and at 4:53 a.m. on Andrews Street.
Sitka Police
Robert Cain, 58, was charged Feb. 19 with disorderly conduct.
Wayne R. Patrick, 25, was charged early this morning with assault in the fourth degree.
Emergency Calls
Sitka Fire Department received ambulance calls at 1:15 p.m., 6:51 p.m. and 10:30 p.m. Friday; at 9:26 a.m., 3:01 p.m., 7:40 p.m. and 11:48 p.m. Saturday; at 11:51 a.m., 12:20 p.m. and 4:43 p.m. Sunday; and 8:50 a.m. today.
At 5:02 p.m. Friday, a vehicle was reported on fire at 701 HPR. The vehicle was a total loss.
