Police received the following calls by 8 a.m. today.

February 23

An agency assist was requested at 517 Airport Road at 5:52 a.m.

At 8:25 a.m. a school reported harassing phone calls.

An animal problem was reported in the 1100 block of HPR at 10:29 a.m.

Citizen contact was made at 12:48 p.m. at a grade school.

A traffic complaint came in at 10:32 p.m. at Sandy Beach.

Sitka Police

Jennifer Montoya, 38, was charged Tuesday with driving with a revoked license and violating a condition of release.

June Mukpik, 40, was arrested for driving with a suspended license.

Emergency Calls

Sitka Fire Department received ambulance calls at 8:20 a.m., 8:58 a.m., 11:25 a.m., 12:30 p.m., and 9:21 p.m. Tuesday, and at 1:51 a.m., 3:02 a.m. and 3:35 a.m. today.

Two fire calls were received Tuesday, at 5:46 p.m. and at 6:48 p.m.,  but neither required action.
