    The following calls were logged before 8 a.m. today:
February 1
    At 10 a.m. a caller said a man seemed to be feeding eagles on the bridge, making them swoop at cars. An officer saw eagles but no man.
    At 3:34 p.m. a caller reported rescuing a cockapoo crossing from the court house to the fire hall. At 5 p.m. a dog-sitter said the cockapoo got loose.
    At 8 p.m. two men were reported drinking in a building at 705 HPR. Officers told one man he’d be trespassed if  he drank inside the building again.
February 2
    At 10:28 a.m. a caller said a man who was staggering in the cold had gone to the bottom of the bridge. An officer found him and gave him a ride.
    A caller complained a neighbor had garbage scattered in his yard and refused to clean it up. An officer noted the garbage was on private property.
    At 8:35 p.m. a caller said an intoxicated woman had begun assaulting her daughter. Officers responded and requested EMS for a juvenile. The Office of Children’s Services was contacted.
February 3
    At 1:07 a.m. a caller said a relative had left a hospital without shoes, and couldn’t be located. Officers assisted in the search and determined the relative was safe with friends.
    At 4:49 a.m. a caller on Harvest Way reported hearing what sounded like an intoxicated person hurling violently.  Officers took a man into custody for his level of intoxication.
    Police performed a civil standby for a woman after her boyfriend expressed concern for her safety. He first called police to see if two particular people were still in custody.
    Police are investigating an assault that occurred Friday.
    At 11:47 a.m. troopers checked on a woman passed out in a vehicle, surrounded by controlled substances at Starrigavan. She was arrested.
    A person was seen trying to enter homes on Katlian Street at 12:11 p.m.
    At 12:45 p.m. a main water break was reported at Crescent harbor.
    At 1:07 p.m. a man was seen trying to get into apartments on Monastery Street. The man told police he heard the places were for rent, and he was trying to look at them.
    At 6:54 p.m. a man refusing to leave a bar left in a taxi before police arrived.
    An ambulance was called for a man who fell down stairs in a home.
February 4
    At 5:40 a.m. a man accidentally discharged a gun in his apartment, but there was no injuries and the bullet appeared to have gone through a window into an empty lot, on Alice Loop Road. Police were unable to locate the bullet.

    Sitka Police
    Kieran Spillane, 43, was charged Friday night with criminal mischief, domestic violence.   
    Samantha M. Skultka, 34, was charged Saturday night with assault in the second degree, assault in the third degree, and two counts of assault in the fourth degree. The charges were domestic violence-related, police said later.
    David W. Skultka, 36, was charged Saturday night with two counts of disorderly conduct.
    Randi Castillo, 25, was arrested Sunday on a charge of misconduct involving a controlled substance in the fourth.

    Emergency Calls
    The Sitka Fire Department dispatched two ambulances Friday, four Saturday, two Sunday and one today.
    At 11:14 a.m. Saturday a fire truck was sent to 104 Smith Street on a broken sprinkler pipe.
    At 11:25 a.m. Sunday a fire truck was sent to 207 Smith Street on a broken sprinkler pipe.
    At 11:43 a.m. Sunday a fire truck was sent to 2906 HPR on a sprinkler system malfunction.
    At 11:17 a.m. today a fire truck was sent to Sweetland Hall on a broken sprinkler pipe.
