Dear Editor: I am unable to be Zey’s adult volunteer this year for the sales of Girl Scout cookies.

This would involve accepting cash and checks, making deposits at FNBA, driving Zey for cookie delivery and sales, scheduling and setting up booths in public areas; tracking boxes sold and/or donated, and other requirements. Zey does the bulk of the work, but an adult must always be with her. This does include a background check on any individual, that is paid for by GSA.
The other alternative is for individuals to order cookies online through a website created by Zey. There would be a shipping fee involved and all deliveries and monies are directly to the Girl Scouts. Zey would receive credit for these sales.
