Trash Pickup

Dear Editor: Several members and staff of Sitka AmeriCorps joined together for a trash pick-up on Katlian Street Thursday Jan. 24 after school released for the day. More than seven large bags of trash and one bag of aluminum cans were gathered. Trash was disposed of and aluminum cans were donated to the Baranof Barracudas Swim Club. We would like to thank community members Steve and Amelia Gage for joining us in the endeavor.  We will hold another community event in April and would like to invite the community to join us then.
