Electric Bills
Dear Editor: As a senior citizen, we had received a $35 raise in our Social Security. Then the city raised our light bill. I cut back on my use of electricity, but my bill still increased to $100 more a month.
So, with this new raise that is coming up on our light bill again, and again, will it come to the point of leaving the retired person with nothing to live on?
The last time you raised our light bill, did the extra money put more water back into our reservoir? Or rather, where did the money go?
A senior citizen,
