Sitka Police Department logged the following calls as of 8 a.m. today.

January 11

A facility reported possible fraud. Police are investigating.

At 9:40 a.m. a man in Juneau asked for a welfare check on his father, who is in Sitka. Police found the father was fine.

At 2:27 p.m. a caller reported a driver had slid into a parked vehicle at Cove Marina. Damage was slight and those involved were given self-report forms.

January 12

At 12:58 a.m. a woman who was intoxicated called police to make accusations.

 

Emergency Calls

Sitka Fire Department received two ambulance calls Tuesday.

 

In Court

A charge of being a drunken person on licensed premises filed against Michael Steven Giron, 51, was dismissed without prejudice by the prosecuting attorney.
