Police received the following calls by 8 a.m. today.

January 14

A domestic problem was reported on Alice Island at 1:11 a.m.

At 12:06 p.m. an agency assist was required after a tree fell across the road at 117 Jeff Davis Street.

A welfare check was requested on DeArmond Street at 1:56 p.m.

A traffic complaint was filed at 3:17 p.m. in the 800 block of HPR.

Suspicious activity was noted at 7:27 p.m. at the O’Connell Bridge.

At 8:11 p.m. suspicious activity was reported in the 1800 block of HPR.

Emergency Calls

Sitka Fire Department received ambulance calls at 11:57 a.m., 7:02 p.m., 9:27 p.m. and 11:11 p.m. Thursday, and 6:49 a.m. today.
