January 26
At 2:55 a.m. police were asked to assist a woman at a downtown bar but she declined help.
At 5:33 a.m. police were asked to make a welfare check on a man who hadn’t been in contact with a family member. He was advised
A woman reported someone had made charges on her credit card in Washington. She was advised on reporting the theft.
At 12:19 p.m. two juvenile girls were reported smoking marijuana in the Crescent Harbor restroom. Their families were contacted, and the marijuana disposed of.
At 3:38 p.m. a service station reported a customer had left without paying. He was contacted, and was to pay the bill. No charges were filed.
January 27
At 12:29 a.m. a man without a shirt on was reported in the middle of the road at HPR and Shelikof Way, engaging with vehicles. He hurt his head and was taken to the hospital to be checked.

Sitka Fire Department received four ambulance calls Thursday.
Coast Guard
Coast Guard Air Station Sitka had several medevacks over the last few days.
On Wednesday, a 51-year-old Wrangell woman with sepsis was flown to Ketchikan for care, with the helicopter taking off at 12:10 p.m. and landing in Ketchikan at 3:23 p.m.
On Thursday, the Air Station responded to two medevac calls. A helicopter was launched at 10:21 a.m. to pick up a 59-year-old woman in Haines, who had fallen and fractured a femur. The helicopter was called back, but relaunched at 1:31 p.m. with a different crew to pick up the woman and a second patient – a 57-year-old man with a hernia medical emergency.
Both were flown to Juneau, transferred at 7:36 p.m. to a Guardian Flight and taken to Anchorage.
