Police received the following calls by 8 a.m. today.
January 28
At 1:19 a.m. citizen contact was made in the 5400 block of HPR.
At 8 a.m. suspicious activity was reported on Andrews Street.
A theft on Merrill Street was reported.
At 10:47 a.m. suspicious activity was reported at a liquor store.
At 2:15 p.m. a caller complained of harassment at a downtown bar.
January 29
At 12:29 a.m. a welfare check was requested at Lincoln Street and Cathedral Way.
At 3:58 a.m. suspicious activity was reported near McDonald’s.
Emergency Calls
Sitka Fire Department received seven ambulance calls.
At 2:45 p.m. the fire hall responded to a call on Flume Circle, which turned out to be burned food.
At 6 a.m. today an alarm malfunctioned at the Alaska Raptor Center.
Grand Jury
Maxwell Dicicco, 20, was indicted Thursday on a class C felony count of driving under the influence, on Nov. 24.
