Police Blotter
The following calls were logged before 8 a.m. today:
December 2
Police talked to a couple in a domestic argument, related to the care of their daughter. The man agreed to leave.
A wallet was turned in and among contents was a debit card that didn’t belong to the wallet owner. The owner said he’d contact the debit card holder.
A hotel clerk said a man who wasn’t supposed to be there had shown up.
A caller said an ex-employee had sent threatening text messages.
A caller asked for a welfare check on her brother, who was not supposed to be drinking due to his medical condition. He later was found to be fine.
At 8:12 p.m. a driver reported backing into a vehicle on Etolin Street.
At 8:50 p.m. an assault was reported, and a man was arrested.
At 9:28 p.m. a caller said someone appeared to be camping in the Swan Lake apartments lobby. Police found no evidence of anyone camping.
At 9:53 p.m. a fight was reported on Price Street. One man was taken into protective custody due to his inability to care for himself and his level of intoxication.
At 11:13 p.m. an intoxicated man was reported to be refusing to leave a residence. Police found he was able to care for himself and he agreed to leave.
December 3
Police received a stalking order to serve.
At 5:09 a.m. a caller said an intoxicated man was lying on the jungle gym near a housing complex, groaning. The man told officers he was going to sleep outside. He didn’t seem to be intoxicated, officers said

Jeremy Beebe, 45, was charged Wednesday with violating conditions of release after being late for a pre-trial enforcement division appointment.
Allen J. Lee, 32, was charged Wednesday with criminal trespass in the second degree.
Tia Brown, 30, was remanded on a felony probation violation and also charged with felony tampering, violating conditions of release, and resisting arrest, on Wednesday.
Justin A. Cameron, 40, was arrested Wednesday on charges of assault in the fourth degree (domestic violence) and violating conditions of release.
Maxwell DiCicco, 18, was arrested early today for violating conditions of release by consuming alcohol.
George Yocum, 19, was cited this morning for minor operating a vehicle after consuming alcohol.
A 15-year-old girl was cited this morning for minor consuming.
Mackenzie Campbell, 18, was cited this morning for minor consuming.
Emergency Calls
Sitka Fire Department received calls for medical help at 9:41 a.m., 11:01 a.m. and 6:24 p.m. Wednesday.
