The following calls were recorded as of 8 a.m. today.

December 30

At 2:37 a.m. a disturbance was reported in the 2300 block of HPR.

At 8:38 a.m. a disturbance was reported in the 2900 block of HPR.

A noise complaint was made at 11:46 p.m. in the 400 block of Lake Street.

December 31

At 9:07 a.m. a window was reported broken at a business in the 900 block of HPR. An investigation is being made.

A found property call came in from Lakeside at 3:50 a.m.

At 5:08 p.m. two people were reported arguing at a business in the 200 block of Lincoln Street. Police found it was verbal only.

Numerous traffic stops were made between 5:36 p.m. and 10:40 p.m.

January 1

At 12:02 a.m. a found property call came in from the 300 block of Lake Street

Traffic stops were made between 12:25 a.m. and 1:18 a.m.

At 2:15 a.m. a found property call came in from Marine Street and HPR,.

At 9:21 a.m. a mother said a juvenile had not returned home on time. Shortly afterward the juvenile returned.

At 12:03 p.m. a container was reported in the roadway on O’Connell Bridge. It was removed.

At 1:34 p.m. a trash can was reported in the roadway in the 900 block of HPR. It was removed.

At 2:55 p.m. a welfare check was requested at ANB Harbor.

An animal call came in at 3:34 p.m. from Verstovia Avenue.

At 10:49 p.m. a window was reported broken at a business on Harbor Drive. An investigation is being made.

At 11:05 p.m. a door on a vehicle parked in the 100 block of Lincoln Street was found open. Officers secured the vehicle.

January 2

At 11:45 a.m. two women were reported in a dispute on Peterson Avenue. One of the women was gone when officers arrived.

A woman was trespassed from a downtown hotel at 12:29 p.m.

At 11:34 p.m. a mom and her  son were reported having a disagreement at Eliason Harbor. They resolved the matter themselves.

At 11:48 p.m. a caller in the 400 block of HPR reported finding property.

 

Emergency Calls

Sitka Fire Department received two ambulance calls Friday, two on Saturday, one on Sunday, and two more on Monday. Also on Monday, a fire call came in at 2:18 p.m. from the 400 block of Lincoln Street, and the engine returned to the fire hall  at 2:33 p.m.

 

Sitka Police

Corey Kadake, 28, was charged Monday with driving under the influence and resisting arrest.
