The family of Lawrence ‘Buddy’ Widmark wishes to Thank You most sincerely for your expressions of kindness and sympathy. A special thank you to the Sitka Post 13 American Legion for conducting the graveside service and providing flag bearers. The Sitka National Cemetery for providing an active Color Guard Unit for their service. Family and friends who were pallbearers at the service. Margaret Carlson, Manager of the Sitka American Legion Club, for coordinating the donation of food for the luncheon held immediately following the graveside service, and the Sitka American Legion Auxiliary for hosting the luncheon. Sitka Tribe of Alaska for their assistance in drafting the obituary. The SEARHC Board of Directors and staff for the flowers. And if we forgot anyone else, it was not our intention.
