Police received the following calls by 8 a.m. today.

January 6

An incident of drunkenness was reported in the 3200 block of HPR at 12:22 a.m.

A welfare check was requested in the 700 block of Lake Street at 8:31 a.m.

A traffic complaint was logged at the roundabout at 12:38 p.m.

An animal problem was reported at the Halibut Point rec area at 12:39 p.m.

A civil dispute was reported at  a store at Sawmill Creek Plaza at 1:06 p.m.

A disturbance was reported at Eliason Harbor at 2 p.m.

January 7

An incident of drunkenness was reported in the 100 block of Lincoln Street at 4:25 a.m.

Sitka Police

Jennifer Montoya, 38,  was arrested on a warrant Wednesday.

Lester Widmark, 38, was arrested Wednesday on two charges of assault in the fourth degree (on a police officer) and resisting arrest.

Emergency Calls

Sitka Fire Department received ambulance calls at 11:12 a.m., 1:44 p.m. and 2:12 p.m. Wednesday, and 12:04 a.m. today.
