Jennifer Eileen (Hanson) Mayville went to be with the Lord on August 30, 2026, at her home in Bellingham, Washington. She was 61.
She was born in Sitka on November 19, 1964, the daughter of Kent and Marilyn (Dahl) Hanson. She was raised in Sitka, graduating from Sitka High School in 1983.
On Nov. 11, 1995, she married Darin Mayville in Aberdeen, Washington, and they made their home in Bellingham, Washington.
Jennifer was a homemaker, a loving wife, mother and grandmother, with a heart of gold, her family said.
She was preceded in death by her mother, Marilyn, and a brother, Jon Jay Hanson.
Survivors include her husband, Darin Mayville, and children Chelsea, Jeremy, Tyler and Mikayla, all of Bellingham; seven grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews; and her father, Kent Hanson, and the others in the Hanson family, of Sitka.
