Police received the following calls as of 8 a.m. today:

June 30

A traffic stop was made at 9:50 a.m. in the 2800 block of HPR.

A parking problem was reported at 10:26 a.m. at 3000 HPR.

At 12:27 p.m. suspicious activity was reported at Park Street and SMC.

Littering was reported in the 1200 block of SMC.

Police are investigating a harassment complaint.

A citizen assist call came in from O’Connel Bridge at 3:39 p.m.

A traffic stop was made at 3208 HPR.

At 8:26 p.m. police responded to a call about a disturbance in the 1500 block of SMC.

A case of drunkenness was reported at Eliason Harbor.

At 11:19 p.m. citizen contact was made at the O’Connel Bridge.

July 1

Calls came in at 1:11 a.m. and 1:25 a.m. about a bear on Naomi Kanosh Lane.

Emergency Calls

Sitka Fire Department received ambulance calls at 10:16 a.m., 8:25 p.m., and 10:29 p.m. Tuesday, and 3:18 a.m. and 8:30 a.m. today.
