Dear Editor: I just have to comment on the absolutely gorgeous landscaping that has graced the center of downtown with a spring variety, and now summer flowers at St. Michael’s Russian Orthodox Cathedral. I so appreciate the exquisite colorful display. It is heavenly!

Duck Winners
Dear Editor: The annual Sitka Rotary Duck Race winners was another great success thanks to all the Sitkans who bought tickets.
The winners of this year’s Duck Race are: first prize, two round-trip tickets on Alaska Airlines, James Swift; second prize, $500, Chan Richards; third prize, $250, Alaska Computer Store; seven random ducks, $100 each, Gail McCray, Tina Krause, Joanna Perensovich, Mary Rickert, Bryce Compano-Calhoun, Jackie Barmoy; and Georgiann Crosta, $100, last duck.
