Investing in Bombs

Dear Editor: Our president has just applauded a deal in which a private company sells missiles to the same country that most of the perpetrators of 911 were from. As usual 1,000s of defense contractors and workers will benefit.

Bombs and the missiles that carry them sit and do nothing until they destroy valuable real estate. The same money planting trees invests in a renewable resource.

We need someone in control who has a better grasp of the overall picture.
